(stuff about me)

EARLY YEARS

From a young age, a blend of creativity, mischief, and technology wove into the fabric of my life.

I fondly recall drawing on programming punch cards brought home by my grandfather, writing my first code on a hand-me-down Radio Shack TRS-80, the screams of connecting to a BBS over dial-up, and religiously re-reading stacks of 2600 magazines.

These formative experiences ignited my lifelong passion for hacking, inventing, building, and learning.

Professional Journey

My passion for technology and innovation has only grown since those early days.

I've spent over 20 years in the software engineering field, evolving with the industry from the early days of the internet to the cutting-edge realms of cloud computing and machine learning.

This journey has not only honed my technical skills but also fueled my inventive spirit, driving me to explore and create in the ever-changing tech landscape.

INTERESTS

When I step away from the world of code, I dive into a spectrum of physical and artistic pursuits.

From the serenity of bike rides to the creative flow of sketching designs, each activity enriches my perspective, fueling my inventive spirit in software engineering.

FAMILY

Yet, the true joy comes from sharing these adventures with my family.

Racing Soapbox Derby cars is a legacy passed from my brother to my son, which exemplifies our family bond and shared enthusiasm for invention and speed.

Life is not always defined by speed, but by slowing down to enjoy those moments that go by so fast.

From celebrating Father’s Day in a bear costume to the amazement on my kids faces when they discover something new.

These are the moments that make life truly special.
